Peru Junin Minca Gold Label
Peruvian coffees are not a common offering from Sagebrush Coffee. I'm really not sure why because so often they stand out. This one is an example of the greatness that can come from this country. It is so sweetly fruited that it just begs you to drink it. With the nice graham cracker finish, you don't get the tartness that usually comes from a fruit forward coffee. I recommend this one to anyone.
Coffee Production / Farm:
Located between the Andes Mountains and the rainforest, Satipo, a province in the region of Junin, is also known as the ceja de selva, or, “jungle entrance.” It’s a region rich in biodiversity and with very asymmetrical topography, which creates different types of airflows that help the coffee trees to flourish.
