The Grosche Madrid is an easy to use tool for anyone looking to brew an excellent cup of coffee, yet isn't willing to sacrifice form for the sake of function.  This is truly a well crafted and attractive piece of equipment.

The Madrid has a dual filter system, both in the main press and in the lid. The plunger and filter mechanism are stainless steel, while the beaker is made from quality, heat-resistant, borosilicate glass. The Madrid French press is truly a premium French press unlike any other, for a connoisseur of fine tasting coffee.  Can also be used to brew loose leaf tea!

Coffee Grinds Explained

We currently offer 4 different coffee grind levels.  Listed below with descriptions.

Whole Bean: Unground coffee for a home grinder.

Coarse: Think sugar in the raw, maybe more coarse, recommended for Chemex Brewer, French Press, Cold Brew

Medium: Slightly coarser than table salt, recommended for Metal Kone filters, Flat bottom brewers including Kalitta, Cloth filters

Fine:  Slightly finer than table salt, recommended for V60 pour overs, Cone filter coffee pots, Moka Pot, Aeropress.

Extra Fine: Like powdered sugar, recommended for Espresso.
