 Tasting Notes:

We have a few coffee bundles available and in general, we try to pair two coffees that we think you'll love because they complement each other very well. Today though, I am excited about this bundle because they are two of our smoothest coffees. Your palette will thank you!

985 Medium Roast Coffee Blend

Our first ever blend is a testimony to why it took us to long to develop one.  We have standards.  We tried to answer the question, "How do you develop a blend of two premium, direct trade coffees and make it as good, if not better than just selling those amazing coffees on their own?"  The answer, our 985 Blend.

The biggest problem with fresh roasted single-origin coffees is that sometimes you don't get the same flavor year over year, because we're really relying on the crops to be consistent and that just isn't possible.  We know the farms that produce the best coffees, but the beans themselves are not going to be the same each year.  In a blend, our goal is to bring this consistent flavor year after year.  The only way I knew to do this was to spend years developing and testing it.  We're pretty sure we have it and are so excited to finally launch our first of several blends.

El Salvador Angel's Mountain Espresso

Dark Chocolate. I smell, brew, roast, or sip this coffee and those two words immediately come to mind. As I drank a cup yesterday, I imagined how it would taste as a latte with just steamed heavy cream and I got really excited, so this morning I tried it. The excitement was not unfounded.  If you're looking for a Latin American espresso, you've come to the right place. This coffee is perfect for that.
