This bundle features two of my favorite coffees that we have available today. We start with my current favorite and then follow it with a new featured coffee. Today we have the ones below.
Nicaragua Dry Process Javanica Gold Label:
I struggle when I add Nicaraguan coffees to our offerings, because this country continues to produce top tiered coffees, but doesn't get the acclaim for them. They seem to sell slower than I would expect. So when I decided to add this one, it had to be exceptional, and it is.
As we sampled this coffee along the different roast profiles, we found a wide range of flavor notes. Which I believe is a testimony to the quality of this coffee. We could've launched this coffee as a fruited light roast or as a complex medium roast, but we decided that it really shines roasted dark and showing off the stunning dark chocolate and nutty flavors. This level makes it a versatile bean, amazing in a french press and as a cold brew. Try this one, you won't be disappointed.
Guatemala La Ceiba Washed:
This coffee is pleasantly creamy with a distinct lightly fruited chocolate undertone. A hint of sweet toastiness lingers on the tongue after your last sip. We sampled this coffee and weren't planning on buying another Guatemalan, but we were trying out a new importer. One taste and we knew we had to have it. Not only is it delicious as a drip coffee, but I think it is one of the most versatile coffees in the shop. It can be brewed in a French Press, as cold brew or even espresso and still stand out. Enjoy!
